"I avoid music in almost anything I produce. It's nonsensical to use in news because it might be hard for people to catch a word if there's a news bed, and it can be "scoring" unless it's just one of those intense "news…"

- Let's move backward: Currently, I'm the YouthCast Host for Generation PRX, and I do most of the blogging for them. I also produce and host for Vocalo.org, WBEW, in Chicago, IL.
I moved to Chicago from Colorado Springs, CO, where I was a producer and reporter for the local news at KRCC while attending Colorado College. While there, I helped found their student run HD channel for KRCC, the SOCC.
And I first learned how to make and break radio at the Blunt Youth Radio Project in Portland, Maine, where I grew up. Woot Woot youth radio!
