Youth Environmental Editorial Board Picks: Water Travels

Have you ever thought about where our water comes from? In the piece, Just Add Water: Life in Arizona from Terrascope Radio, native Arizonians from Tucson talk about the water supply and how they receive their water from the Colorado River.

After hearing this piece, I realized how grateful I should be for the water I get to use. Water is a precious resource and we only have so much of it. If we keep using it at such a high rate as we are, we might never be able to use water again. Hearing this piece makes me realize we should conserve the water we have, because there are people who aren't as lucky as we are.

It's also interesting to hear about how people get their water. Most of us don't know how water travels and we should all understand how it works and why those circumstances happen. Very informative and a very inspiring piece. I definitely learned how to conserve water and I'm sure others would benefit from hearing this piece as well.
