We love sound.  And we love understanding how things work.  But for some reason, every time we try and get someone to explain sound the conversation devolves into crazy techno-speak, our eyes glaze over and… suddenly we're thinking about lunch.

Then we stumbled on this video (hat tip to HowSound) which opens with this:

"Let's talk about sound, and let's not talk about it in that needlessly complex way that people invariably do when they talk about sound…"
