Just Hangin' Out
Man I can't believe the new year is just minutes away... 120 minutes to be exact... its crazy to think of everything that has happened this year and to relize that this chapter is over and another is yet to begin.. What shall the title be this time? "Chapter 18: Becoming Legal!" I mean, what am I to expect? The sense of freedom? Freedom to what? buy lottery tickets? Smoke a ciggarette? Or maybe... just maybe some one will listen to what I have to say. Maybe now my thoughts will matter. My opinion can count. But on the other hand, I don't think it will I can't vote for preliminarys I can't even help in the choice of president. "The voice of the people..." What people is that? The rich man nthat is 38 years of age? Or the one that owns buildings and law offices and maybe even that paralegal hiding in the corner? What does turning 18 really mean?

Comment by *~*Mandi*~* on December 31, 2007 at 11:12pm - Sorry 'bout that ranting... So much stuff confuses my mind, my thoughts. Every new year that passes brings the same hauntings... What will I do this "new begining" to improve myself? What will I do to help improve others? And then you start to think of how life is passign by in the fast lane and how quickly it can be taken away. And then you promise yourself to never take advantage of anything, any living, breathing moment, and then relize that this "resolution" is but another impossible task that one is lieign to themself and that if they can tell such a lie to the one person that really matters to them, what will they tell everyone else? Will we live life in lies? Will our whole life revolve around this lie to take every monent and cherish them? The only moments that are cherished are those that we create memories from. The moments that are reallly worth while, a grduation, a birth, a death, an acceptance, a tradegy, or a break throw. But enough of that I wish every one an awesome new begining!! PEACE, LOVE & HAPPINESS ALL THROUGH THE NEW YEAR!!!!
