Youth Environmental Editorial Board: D.C. Water Troubles

February 27, 2012 in GPRX Blog by Alyssa Kay Richman

Water is a very precious resource to all of us.  We all need it, but there are some states that need it more than others.  Water, Water Everywhere And Not a Drop to Drink, by Nick Greenfield of WAMU Youth Voices, gets to the bottom of the crisis in Washington D.C.

Water is very scarce in D.C. as it is everywhere else. There is so little water that kids are playing in streets which aren’t very healthy or fun.  For the safety of all children in the D.C. area, they need funds for water systems to protect children. Let's help save water for the ones in need. Let's save our precious resource so there is enough to go around.
